Duplantier and Meric continues to be very involved in the post hurricane recovery process in the New Orleans area. Although future plans have not been decided, projects such as Charity Hospital and LSU Health Sciences Center, along with a master plan for the medical district, will play a pivotal role in the rebirth of the city.
In addition, there is a tremendous amount of work to be done along the Gulf Coast region. And with time constraints being foremost, our design-build philosophy certainly has its merit as related to recovery needs.
“We are very optimistic as to the future of the region and the prompt redevelopment of those facilities critical to the area's recovery. We hope to use our expertise and experience to continue to be a part of the region's recovery,” says Tommy Meric.
